Chris Kemper

Co-Founder / CEO

Chris Kemper, Co-Founder, received a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Virginia Military Institute, along with an MBA from Brenau University and a graduate certificate in Financial Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. A retired Army veteran of 23 years in service, Chris has 20+ years of managing small and large teams all across the globe, as well as 8 years of civilian experience in business administration. In his last position before starting EMILY™ with Samie, Chris led a software development project team of 75 people across six different time zones and four different countries and was project lead for three government contracts totaling over $3m for a small software company in Colorado. He then volunteered to establish the sales and marketing effort, hiring a sales team to target governmental, academic, and commercial customers. The opportunity arose to create a new company focused on helping small businesses achieve the same reach as their larger counterparts and he jumped at the chance. Chris is skilled in search engine optimization, data analytics, financial management, project management and operational management. Chris has been with EMILY™ since its inception.
